KB Shorthairs is Proud to Announce Training Available with Diamond S Kennel out of Muldrow, OK. Trainer Kenny Snow brings over 15 years of training dogs. He spent 13 years training dogs to run in the NBHA and training dogs to run in NSTRA. Kenny also specializes in German Shorthairs and English Pointer and Setters also. If you are worried about the cost of training your bird dog or think that you can’t afford to have your dog trained? Add up the initial cost of a puppy plus a lifetime of veterinary care and feed. Now weigh this against the cost of a few months of training. Not spending a few dollars to bring out the best in your dog is like buying a new car and then never putting gas in the tank.
At Diamond S Kennel's we offer a full training service. We specialize in starting pups. We believe in starting our dogs with a good yard program. In this we teach the commands whoa and here. We also start teaching your dog to turn on command and introduce them to birds. After that is complete we head to the field where we start working them on live quail. We believe the more that is killed over the dog the better. From there we go on to finishing them into a complete gun dog. We specialize in English Pointers, English Setters, German Shorthairs and Brittany's. Our rates are $300.00 a month.
We also offer Force Brake to retrieve. We use the e-collar and believe in killing alot of birds for the dogs. We use a flat rate of $500.00.
At Diamond S Kennel we offer a full line of started and broke gun dogs. Our dogs are trained for the bird hunter and walking trial enthusiast. Our broke dogs will point and hold their bird to flush, back on site and are force broke to retrieve. Our started dogs will be at various stages in training. They will all have their yard work done and will hold their birds.
